El Viejo
DESCRIPTION
The El Viejo Continente Classic and Maduro line is an honest smoking pleasure for the experienced cigar connoisseur at an excellent price/performance ratio. It reproduces the classic woody/earthy notes from the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. This cigar can be enjoyed wonderfully with port wines, slightly sweet sherries or an aged rum.

Top stuff
To be honest, I didn’t have particularly high expectations of this cigar. I was very pleasantly surprised when the flavours really came into their own after about 10 minutes. The Lancero vitola is also brilliant in this combination, as the smoke is always nice and cool.
Flavour-wise, it’s rather warm and full-bodied, but not harsh or peppery.
I can highly recommend it for the price.
