Strong Dominican flavour - dark, sweet, spicy

The A. Flores Gran Reserva Maduro also comes from the Abe Flores (PDR Cigars) factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. As with its light-coloured sister line, it is also made entirely by hand and selected very strictly. The difference lies in the dark, richly fermented maduro wrapper, which gives the cigar more depth, sweetness and roasted flavours. The result is a characterful but smooth smoke profile with warm notes of cocoa, coffee and spice.

Full-bodied, round, with a natural sweetness

The Gran Reserva Maduro is aimed at aficionados who like a medium to full-bodied cigar with a focus on body and flavour density. The dark wrapper leaf brings a beautiful maduro sweetness, with earthy and chocolaty tones. The Dominican-Nicaraguan tobacco base provides structure, a light peppery flavour and a long finish. Notes of dark chocolate, espresso, dark wood, molasses and fine spice are evident throughout - ideal for connoisseurs who like things a little darker and richer, without the cigar ever coming across as bitter or harsh.
