The Boveda humidipacks are 2-way humidifiers. If the humidity falls below the specified value, the humidipack releases moisture. If the humidity rises above the value, the humidipack absorbs the excess moisture. The humidifiers are pre-filled and only need to be unpacked.

Humidifier design

Boveda is a two-way humidity control product specially developed for use in countertop and travel humidors and cases.
Fluctuations in the moisture balance are prevented and, unlike conventional humidification systems, Boveda guarantees a constant moisture content, which preserves the cigars' natural oils and sugars and thus enables unrestricted smoking enjoyment.
Each packet reacts to the current temperature and humidity in the immediate environment by adding or releasing small amounts of moisture. Boveda contains a saturated solution of natural salts and pure water, protected by a membrane that works in both directions. This ensures that the selected humidity level is reliably maintained.

Can the humidifier be refilled?

No, the Boveda humidipacks are disposable humidifiers and release the moisture immediately after opening the packaging.
