Ramon Allones was originally founded in 1837 by the brothers Antonio and Ramon Allones. While Ramon continued to run the brand named after him, Antonio later dedicated himself to the El Rey del Mundo brand.
Ramon Allones is one of the oldest Habanos brands still available and is now produced in the Partagas factory (Havana).
