Romeo y Julieta
The Romeo y Julieta brand was founded in 1875 by Alvàrey y Garcìa and taken over in 1903 by Rodrìguez Fernandez, who made Romeo y Julieta world-famous through targeted and skilful marketing campaigns. For example, he was able to win over the then British Prime Minister Winston Churchill for the brand and renamed the former Julieta No. 2 format Romeo y Julieta Churchills, which still bears the golden belly band with his name today. The name of the manufactory is of course based on the tragic heroes of William Shakespeare's novel of the same name.
The tobaccos come exclusively from the Vuelta Abajo and give the cigar a classic medium-bodied character. Why not follow in the footsteps of W. Churchill for a moment and be inspired by his favourite choice...
