Diplomatico Mantuano Rum 70cl

The Destilerías Unidas S.A. distillery can look back on decades of tradition in the production of Venezuelan rum. Founded in 1959 as Licorerías Unidas S.A., this distillery now produces a wide variety of rum styles using old, traditional recipes. Situated at the foot of the Andes, strategically located right next to the largest sugar cane mills and close to Terepaima National Park (which supplies some of the purest water), Diplomatico Mantuano is distilled from selected sugarcane molasses and honey, and then aged in old white oak barrels that previously held bourbon and single malt whisky.

With an ageing period of eight years, this rum not only has a brown colour but also the aromas of oak, sugar and caramel.
