Pyrat XO Reserve Rum 70cl

Pyrat rum is produced on the small island of Anguilla in the British West Indies (Caribbean) by the Planters distillery. The distillery was founded towards the end of the 19th century by the English sailor CJ Planter after he married the daughter of a local sugar cane producer. The high-quality rum quickly became known beyond the country's borders and found its way to Europe.

Nothing has changed to this day and Pyrat rum is considered one of the best rums ever.

Tasting notes:
Colour: amber.
Nose: heavy and sweet, aromas of marzipan, vanilla and orange.
Palate: again lots of orange, tart and sweet, quite fruity, very mouth-filling and heavy, almost liqueur-like.
