Taha is the man behind Skull 77. He has a penchant for motorbikes, sports cars and cigars. The "77" does not come from Laurent's year of birth, but from the date on which the brand was founded on 7 July 2014. The cigars are made in Costa Rica in Marc's Vegas de Santiago factory, which won the Cigar Journal Award for the best Costa Rican cigar brand in 2017

the opulent, lightweight cigar is an absolute eye-catcher. The smooth, oily, ultra-fine-ribbed wrapper ends with a plait at the head and the metallic-looking skull band looks from afar as if it has been printed directly onto the cigar.

CharacteristicsAt first

, grass, hay and cashew nuts come to the fore with a finely balanced honey sweetness in the creamy smoke. Apart from the wonderfully persistent honey sweetness, which increases as the smoke progresses and ends intensively in the finale, the other flavours are rather fleeting until halfway through, after which the aftertaste improves.
