In 1882, after 30 years of cigar production at the Antonio Allones factory, the decision was taken to launch a new brand of premium quality at premium prices. With great confidence and little modesty, it was El Rey del Mundo – The King of the World – and proved a resounding success. At the time, these cigars were among the most expensive in the world.

This success lives on to this day in a select ‘Habanos ’ range, which is renowned for its mild to medium-bodied flavour and consistency.
All sizes are totalmente a mano, tripa larga – long-filler cigars made entirely by hand, with filler and wrapper leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region.
