They tend their own orchards, vegetable gardens and vineyards with great care and are uncompromising in their pursuit of the highest standards. The high quality of the harvests is essential for producing first-class fine spirits, delicatessen products and the flavour-packed dishes of their natural cuisine.
Since 2002, Käser’s Schloss has been ranked amongst Europe’s finest distillers and is also one of the most creative. Tschin is distilled with cherry blossom. This floral flavour is rounded off with woodruff and wild berries from the region. The juniper also comes from the Fricktal region, where, incidentally, it is known as ‘Reckholder’. It gives Tschin its characteristic gin flavour. All in all, Tschin is a mild, floral gin, a character further enhanced by its lower alcohol content of 40%. Another highlight of this gin is undoubtedly the handcrafted bottle. It is corked, tied with string and sealed with wax, all with great attention to detail. The label, made from thick handmade paper and hand-painted, is certainly an eye-catcher too.
