Cohiba
DESCRIPTION
The Cohiba Siglo I Tubos, crafted in one of Cuba’s most renowned cigar factories – perhaps even the finest – impressively showcases the merits of small cigars. Whilst the dry draw already hints at a real treat, it reveals its full potential once lit. After a brief hint of sharpness, it reveals its characteristic earthy and nutty flavours, similar to those found in larger cigars. Measuring just under 10 centimetres in length and with a diameter of around 16 millimetres, the Siglo I Tubos offers around three-quarters of an hour’s enjoyment and burns extremely evenly. Its draw offers a pleasantly relaxed resistance, and it corrects minor irregularities effortlessly on its own.
Cohiba – a super-premium brand
The very term ‘Cohiba’ is unique, as it is not a word of Spanish origin but a loanword from the indigenous Taíno people, referring to the wrapping of the tobacco leaves. Many different characteristics make a Cohiba cigar the most exclusive of all Habanos. Firstly, there is the origin of the leaves – they come exclusively from the five finest Vegas de Primera in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region, specifically from the areas of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis. Another unique feature of a Cohiba is the – third – fermentation of two of the three filler leaves – this gives the Cohiba its irresistible aroma and inimitable flavour.
Packaged in a beautiful Tubos
The Cohiba Linea 1492 Siglo I Tubos is packaged in a beautiful Tubos. Not only does it look good, but it also protects the cigar from physical damage and maintains the ideal humidity.

Ratings
Here’s what Cigar Aficionado has to say
" The wrapper of this Petit Corona has an attractive, oily sheen. Although it starts off mild, the smoke becomes significantly stronger midway through, revealing an intoxicating, earthy character with notes of leather and graham cracker. " Cigar Aficionado, 1 December 2017
