Cohiba Linea 1492 Siglo III

Among fine cigars such as the Cohiba Lancero, Trinidad Fundadores and Cohiba Siglo V, the Cohiba Siglo III is a particularly elegant choice. Its slender shape fits comfortably in the hands of a cigar-smoking lady or a gentleman who is not looking for a large cigar. With a flawless wrapper and excellent construction, it offers a pleasant draw and an even burn. The Siglo III develops slowly over its 155-millimetre length, with subtle fruitiness, delicate notes of cedar and roasted nuts. The finish reveals more spice and a delicate, pleasant bitterness. Lively and easy to smoke, it is a delight for connoisseurs.

Cohiba – a super-premium brand

The very word ‘Cohiba’ is unique, as it is not of Spanish origin but a loanword from the indigenous Taíno people, referring to the wrapping of the tobacco leaves. Many different characteristics make Cohiba cigars the most exclusive of all Habanos. Firstly, there is the origin of the leaves – they come exclusively from the five finest Vegas de Primera in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region, specifically from the areas of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis. Another unique feature of a Cohiba is the – third – fermentation of two of the three filler leaves – this gives the Cohiba its irresistible aroma and inimitable flavour.

Tasting Report

Cigar exterior: Fine wrapper with a slight sheen.
Cigar interior: Medium roll, well-constructed.
Smoke: Creamy with a subtle sweetness and a medium smoke volume.
Flavour: Wood , earth and leather are well balanced, complemented by hints of grass, nut and chocolate.
Burn: Good burn
