Cohiba Linea 1492 Siglo IV

The Cohiba Siglo IV is a classic from the Linea 1942 range of the super-premium Cohiba brand and is a must-have for any well-stocked humidor. The flawless wrapper and superb craftsmanship speak for themselves. The Cohiba Siglo 4 has aromas of cedar and tea; the first few puffs are smooth and creamy, with a hint of sweetness. As one of the finest Cuban cigars, and featuring triple-fermented filler tobaccos, it offers an elegant and well-balanced flavour profile. A slight sweetness and a consistently delicately spicy undertone characterise this Corona Gorda, which can be smoked right down to well beyond the yellow and black cigar band.

Cohiba – a super-premium brand

The very term ‘Cohiba’ is unique, as it is not a word of Spanish origin but a loanword from the indigenous Taíno people, referring to the wrapping of the tobacco leaves. Many different characteristics make a Cohiba cigar the most exclusive of all Habanos. Firstly, there is the origin of the leaves – they come exclusively from the five finest Vegas de Primera in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region, specifically from the areas of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis. Another unique feature of a Cohiba is the – third – fermentation of two of the three filler leaves – this gives the Cohiba its irresistible aroma and inimitable flavour.

Cigar appearance: Fine wrapper with a slight sheen.
Cigar construction: Medium roll, well-made.
Smoke: Creamy with a slight sweetness and a medium smoke volume.
Flavour: Wood , earth and leather dominate, with a hint of nut.
Burn: Good burn
