IMCO Chic 4 Pipe Flint Green Neutral

IMCO Chic 4 Pipe Flint Green Neutral – Pipe lighter with angled flame & integrated tools

The IMCO Chic 4 Pipe Flint Green Neutral is a compact pipe lighter for anyone who wants to enjoy smoking just as much on the go as they do at home. The angled flame is specially designed for lighting pipes: you can guide the flame into the bowl in a controlled manner without burning your fingers or unnecessarily blackening the rim. In the “Green Neutral” version, the design is pleasantly understated – ideal if you’re looking for a practical tool without an obtrusive look.

Angled flame & reliable flint ignition

For the Chic 4 Pipe, IMCO relies on a robust friction wheel/flint ignition system, which is considered particularly suitable for everyday use and resistant to dirt. The intensity of the 45° angled flame can be adjusted, allowing you to gently ‘toast’ the tobacco first and then light it evenly. It is precisely this combination that makes the lighter so popular: reliable ignition, easy to use and perfectly suited to pipe smokers.

Integrated tamper and scraper – perfect for on the go

The integrated tools are a real bonus: atamper and a scraper/scraperblade fold out from the side. These allow you to tamp the tobacco, smooth the surface or adjust the burn – without having to pack any additional pipe tools. This is particularly invaluable on walks, in cafés or whilst travelling, as you have your complete mini-setup with you in a single accessory.

Material, dimensions & refilling

The casing combines a plastic body with a brushed aluminium shell. This makes the lighter comfortable to hold whilst remaining lightweight. It is refillable with butane gas and is marketed by retailers as having a generous tank capacity for many ignitions. Its handy dimensions of approx. 76 mm in height and 33 mm in width fit easily into jacket or pipe pockets. It is typically supplied in retro packaging.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a straightforward, reliable pipe lighter that combines an angled flame, flint ignition and pipe tools in a single device, this IMCO model is a very compelling choice. The green, understated design adds a subtle touch of colour – without distracting from what matters most: lighting your pipe cleanly and effortlessly.
