Turicum Handcrafted Dry Gin 50cl

When the two managing directors Oliver Honegger and Merlin Kofler visited several gin distilleries in England, the foundation stone for Turicum Gin was laid. Inspired by the English gins, they decided to create a gin for Zurich. Turicum" is made up of 12 botanicals. These include lime blossom from the Lindenhof, hand-picked fir tips from Zurich, rose hips from Oli's garden and the secret ingredient no. 3.
Turicum Gin is produced in the heart of Zurich using the small-batch process. The London Dry style guarantees that no additives are used in addition to the botanicals and water. Turicum Gin also contains no sweetening products.

The aroma profile
"This gin is only colour less.Translucent and clear as a diamond, it is nevertheless not a flatterer. Sage, coriander, cherry and the sweetest juniper tickle the nose. It is incredibly beguiling from the very first breath, but the palate knows exactly what to expect. No frippery. Thyme, orange and lemon peel and a few secrets play around the palate. About Turicum
The story of Turicum began in June 2013: while visiting English gin distilleries, the current managing directors Merlin Kofler and Oliver Honegger decided to develop their own gin. Together with two friends, Philip Angst and Oscar Martin, they turned this idea into reality within two years.
The main focus of the development was one thing: they wanted to create a gin "from Züri" to honour the character of their homeland and at the same time celebrate it beyond the city limits.
