Swiss Highland Wildflower Honey Gin 70cl

Swiss Highland Honey Gin ‘Wildflower’ is a summer gin experience with a slightly wilder twist. The recipe for our Swiss Highland Dry Gin serves as the basis for this limited-edition summer release. During the production process, it is enriched with wildflower honey. The addition of honey gives the gin a beautiful yellow colour, which, combined with its sweet aromas, rounds off the summer experience. Our Honey Gin has an alcohol content of 33.3 per cent by volume, placing it between the classic gins ( Swiss Highland Dry Gin and Swiss Highland Old Tom Gin) and the Swiss Highland Sloe Gin.

Serving suggestion

We recommend serving Swiss Highland Honey Gin ‘Wildflower’ on the rocks or mixed with ginger beer as a ‘Honey Mule’

How to make a Swiss Highland London Honey-Mule

Fill a copper mule glass with ice. (Do not use crushed ice or ice cubes that are too small.) Top up 5cl of Studer’s Swiss Highland Honey Gin ‘Wildflower’ with 15cl of ginger beer. Finally, garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy.

About the honey

Swiss Highland Honey Gin ‘Wildflower’ is made from 100% European wildflower honey. Unlike ‘classic honey’, this variety does not come from cultivated or agricultural plants, but from wild-growing plants.

Wildflower honey is a rarity today, as it can only be harvested in areas where flora is still able to grow wild and unchecked. These are often remote areas such as the Alps or nature reserves.

A pollen analysis is required for the honey to be classified as wildflower honey. As the honey is collected by bees in a natural environment, elevated pesticide levels are not an issue with this type of honey.

The robust flavour and the fact that it is harvested in a natural environment are qualities that wildflower honey shares with our Swiss Highland Dry Gin. For this reason, we deliberately chose this wild variety of honey. The result is a summer experience with a slightly wilder edge.
