Borkum Riff Pipe tobacco Highland Malt Whiskey - 42.5g bag

Borkum Riff Pipe Tobacco Highland Malt Whisky – 42.5g pouch is an aromatic classic for anyone looking for a full-bodied yet smooth blend with a refined whisky character. This blend combines high-quality tobaccos with a subtle, mature malt accent from the Scottish Highlands – warm, rounded and pleasantly ‘mature’, without being overly sweet. For everyday use, the tobacco is a delight thanks to its ease of use: it’s easy to pack, lights reliably and burns evenly at a leisurely pace. This is precisely why Highland Malt Whisky is appealing to both beginners and experienced pipe smokers who want a distinct flavour profile without losing the tobacco taste.

Single Malt flair: Virginia & Burley with a whisky finish

The base is classic and tried-and-tested: Virginia provides a natural, light sweetness and a warm foundation, whilst Burley contributes body and a mellow, slightly nutty texture. On top of this authentic tobacco base lies the flavouring – notes of (Highland) malt whisky, sometimes described as having a slight vanilla accent. This results in a very harmonious profile: the whisky doesn’t come across as ‘sharp and alcoholic’, but rather as a gentle hint of cask and malt that resonates in the background and lends the blend depth. Throughout the smoking experience, the aroma remains pleasantly consistent – particularly when you smoke slowly and relaxed. The blend then reveals itself to be robust and full-bodied, yet still soft enough to make even longer sessions enjoyable.
