Technology for the optimal care of your cigars

All materials are welded together to maintain the ideal humidity level inside the humidor. Multi-layered fabric and a laminated interior guarantee durability and moisture retention. Each travel humidor is fitted with a Boveda Humidipack, which releases humidity slowly and evenly. Cigars can be stored in the travel humidor for approximately 45 days (as specified by Davidoff; this may vary depending on usage). The revolutionary insert has been developed exclusively for cigars. The wavy design of the insert ensures optimal storage and protection for the cigars. The extra-high fabric inserts prevent the cigars from being squashed. The soft fabric protects the cigar wrappers.

Space for 8 cigars – recommendation

: Place larger cigars in the centre and smaller ones at the sides. For cigars with a large ring gauge, the insert can be expanded by opening the press studs on both sides.

Marcello Bottino is an Italian designer and entrepreneur from Genoa who specialises in welding technology and innovative textile design, experimenting with new materials and solutions in every project – from rucksacks with solar cells to seamless swimwear. Davidoff approached Marcello Bottino, who is renowned for his high technological design standards. Davidoff envisaged a stylish cigar accessory that could easily be taken on the go. It was not just the design that was important, but the entire development process: the materials had to be compatible with the cigars, the technology had to ensure that the humidity remained within the humidor, and the cigars had to be properly protected. Drawing on his expertise in innovative textiles, the development of his own welding techniques and his unmistakable Italian flair, Marcello developed the Davidoff travel humidor.
