With a length of around 152 millimetres, a diameter of approximately 23.8 millimetres and a ring gauge of 60, the Gran Toro has an impressive presence. The voluminous size offers the filler plenty of space and produces a rich smoke volume without losing the characteristic intensity of the Lawless. Blends can occasionally lose some of their concentration, particularly with large ring gauges. With the Lawless, however, the profile remains aromatic and well-structured. The Ecuador Habano Rosado wrapper is slightly oily and has a striking reddish-brown hue.

Espresso, cocoa and dark fruit

The smoke opens with earthy notes, cedarwood and strong coffee. Cocoa and warm baking spices soon develop, accompanied by cinnamon and black pepper. As the cigar progresses, dark fruit notes emerge, lending a pleasant sweetness to the robust profile. Depending on one’s perception, these are reminiscent of dark cherries or dried fruit. Mineral nuances and a subtle hint of liquorice may also come to the fore. Despite the aromatic richness, the overall profile remains balanced, ranging from medium-bodied to full-bodied.
