San Martín
DESCRIPTION
The San Martín Robusto Tubo offers the distinctive flavour of the San Martín Robusto in practical, high-quality Tubo packaging. This handcrafted premium cigar originates from the Dominican Republic and is produced by ABAM S.A. The brand is part of the VILLIGER group and is named after José de San Martín, one of South America’s most significant freedom fighters. The exact tobacco blend is deliberately kept secret. In terms of flavour, the range is characterised by a robust profile, earthy notes and a surprisingly fresh citrus accent.
San Martin Robusto Tubo for on the go
The cigar itself corresponds to the series’ classic Robusto format. It measures around 124 mm with a diameter of 19.84 mm and a ring gauge of 50. The key difference lies in the Tubo. According to VILLIGER, this protects the cigar from drying out and makes it particularly practical for on the go or when travelling. Whilst the Tubo is no substitute for long-term storage in a properly climate-controlled humidor, it does offer the cigar additional mechanical protection whilst on the move and better safeguards it against short-term external influences.
Robust spice and creamy smoke
The San Martin Robusto develops its flavours relatively quickly and intensely. The official flavour profile highlights earth and citrus in particular. Tastings add to this picture with white pepper, tart nut, light roasted notes and cedar wood. As the cigar progresses, sweet tobacco spice, leather and, at times, mineral nuances emerge. The smoke texture has been described as rich and creamy. It is precisely the interplay of robust spice, earthy depth and fresh citrus notes that gives the Robusto its distinctive character.
Premium Dominican pleasure in a protective tubo
With a strength rating of 4 out of 5, the Robusto Tubo is one of the brand’s more intense cigars. VILLIGER states a smoking time of approximately 60 minutes. This makes it suitable for a fully satisfying smoking experience without requiring the significantly longer smoking time of the Churchill. The Tubo packaging also makes it an interesting choice as a travel companion or gift. Those who prefer full-bodied Dominican long-fillers and appreciate fresh, slightly sweet notes alongside a classic earthy, spicy base will find this variant to be a versatile premium cigar with practical packaging.

Was frisches auf dem Markt.... :-)
Kaufen würde ich sie trotzdem wieder! :-)
