Esteban Carreras
DESCRIPTION
The Esteban Carreras Chupacabra Hellcat Sesenta is an expressive boutique cigar from Nicaragua that impresses with its powerful flavour profile, high-quality finish and imposing format. Featuring a dark, oily San Andrés Maduro wrapper, a box-pressed body and the characteristic pigtail finish, it embodies the typical signature of Esteban Carreras: intense, distinctive and high-quality. It is produced in the in-house Tabacalera Carreras in Estelí, the centre of Nicaraguan cigar making.
Origin and format
The Sesenta measures 152 mm in length with an impressive ring gauge of 60. The format combines a full-bodied presence with a long smoking time. It has a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and a spicy, powerful filler from Nicaragua. The box-pressed format with pigtail ensures a pleasant draw and cooler, even smoking behaviour - perfect for experienced aficionados.
Appearance and finish
The cigar has an almost black, slightly shiny Oscuro wrapper leaf, which is finely veined and oily. The square-pressed shape is neatly finished and the draw resistance is optimal. Two strikingly designed cigar rings and the ornate pigtail on the head make it a real eye-catcher.
Flavour experience
The cold draw is dominated by notes of dark chocolate, earth and cedar wood. After lighting up, the cigar begins with strong flavours of pepper, leather and dark chocolate. The middle third brings roasted flavours, coffee and a subtle natural sweetness. Toast, nut and dark fruit flavours are added in the final section. The smoke is creamy and voluminous, the strength is clearly in the full-bodied range.
Assessment and conclusion
The Hellcat Sesenta is an opulent maduro cigar with plenty of body, depth and craftsmanship. Its combination of intense flavour, smooth smoke development and exceptional format makes it the ideal choice for late evenings or special occasions. It combines strength, sophistication and character in a consistently impressive overall package.

Top Zigarre
Klare Kaufempfehlung
