Knob Creek Straight Bourbon Whisky 70cl

Knob Creek is the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln and also the name of a small river that flows past the Jim Beam distillery. It was first launched in 1992 and, alongside Booker’s, Baker’s and Basil Hayden’s, is the fourth in Beam Suntory’s Small Batch Editions range, produced at the Beam distillery. Originally created by Booker Noe and stated as having been aged for nine years, this Straight Bourbon is now available without an age statement. In 2015, it was named the best bourbon out of 95 entries at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Amber.
Aroma: Caramel, honey, oak and a hint of rye spice
Flavour: Toasted oak, nuts, spices and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with a hint of vanilla.
