Old Fashioned is produced according to a traditional recipe: Virginia tobaccos are matured under a press to form tobacco cakes, which are then cut and fluffed up. Dried Burley is also matured whilst pressed into cakes and rounds off the blend. This processing brings depth and harmony: Virginia provides a natural, warm sweetness and a slightly ‘toasty’ foundation, whilst Burley adds body and a subtle, nutty texture. Several sources also specify the origins of the tobaccos: Virginia from North Carolina and Brazil, and Burley from Tennessee and Mexico, amongst others. The result is a blend that not only smells wonderful, but also delivers a truly rich and balanced flavour in the pipe.

Particularly pleasing is the consistent profile throughout the entire smoke: the aroma remains present without overpowering the tobacco base.
