All Wess products are still manufactured to this day at the Offenbach fine leather goods workshop (Germany). In addition to excellent quality, this means we can also offer you long-term after-sales service for these fine products. In 1919, Bernd Kopp’s great-grandfather, Martin Wess, founded the company, which at its peak employed 100 staff and had a branch on Fifth Avenue in New York. Production has been managed for more than four decades by the experienced Kurth family of fine leather goods artisans. Some of our staff completed their apprenticeships at the most renowned companies in the time-honoured leather capital: Gota, Picard, Comtesse and Goldpfeil, to name but a few.
