The name is derived from the term "Indorum sana sancta", which in turn can be translated as "holy healing plant from India". Tobacco from India? At the time, many Europeans still believed that the explorer Christopher Columbus had found the sea route to India. And because the premium cigars with the silky shimmering wrapper leaves deserve a special name, this new brand is called San'Doro.
The Villiger San'Doro Claro stands for innovation, natural fermentation and a balanced blend of tobaccos from Nicaragua and Ecuador. This fine cigar with a slightly spicy flavour is mild, full-bodied and sophisticated at the same time. The flavours are full, complex and perfectly balanced. The flavour is dominated by mild, earthy, woody roasted aromas, which are accompanied by a slight creaminess.
