Xikar
DESCRIPTION
The Xikar cigar cutter features a sharp blade with a diameter of 10 mm. The cutter differs from conventional cutters in two respects:
Firstly, the blade is ground inwards. This has the advantage that, when cutting, the tobacco leaf of the cigar cap is not pushed outwards. This prevents cracks from forming in the cigar cap.
Secondly, the cutter has a pin in the centre which penetrates the cigar slightly when cutting. This optimises the draw of the cigar.
A key ring is attached to the rear end of the cutter, allowing it to be attached to a set of keys. It must be noted, however, that at 66 grams, 6 cm in length and 1.8 cm in diameter, it is relatively large.
Features
- A razor-sharp blade made from hardened steel.
- A mandrel in the centre, which optimises the pulling action.
- The blade and pin are extendable.
- Automatic ejection of tobacco residue.
- Made from aluminium.
- Dimensions: 6 cm long, 1.8 cm in diameter
- Weight: 66 grams
Function
A twisting motion extends the blade and the mandrel. The mandrel helps to centre the drill. The blade can then be drilled into the cigar head with a gentle twisting motion. When you twist it out again, the cigar scraps remain inside the drill. As you twist the drill back together, the tobacco scraps automatically fall out.
