Xikar 10mm Drill Black

The  cigar drill from Xikar has a sharp blade with a diameter of 10 mm. The drill differs from conventional drills in two ways:
Firstly, the blade is ground on the inside. This has the advantage that the tobacco leaf of the cigar cap is not pressed outwards when cutting. This prevents cracks from forming in the cigar cap.
Secondly, the drill has a spike in the centre, which penetrates the cigar slightly when cutting. This optimises the draw of the cigar.
A key ring is attached to the rear end of the drill, which can be used to attach the drill to a bunch of keys. However, it must be said that with its 66 grams and a length of 6 cm and a diameter of 1.8 cm, it is relatively large.

Function

The blade and mandrel are extended with a twisting motion. The mandrel helps to centre the drill bit. The blade can then be drilled into the cigar head with a slight twisting movement. The cigar residue remains in the drill when it is subsequently unscrewed. By twisting the drill together, the tobacco residue automatically falls out of the drill.
