Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill Special Offer

A winner’s cigar

The Alec Bradley Prensado cigar range is the strongest in AB’s range. The Corojo wrapper from Honduras envelops the Nicaraguan binder. The filler, a blend of spicy Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos, ensures a unique smoking experience. This combination makes these cigars ideal for true connoisseurs. The dominant flavours are roasted notes and coffee, with a hint of red pepper. It is box-pressed, with a round head and an impressive, lush wrapper. In 2011, the Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill received the dream score of 96 points from Cigar Aficionado and was named Cigar of the Year. The judges detected “leather, chocolate and spicy notes with a long, sumptuous finish” – either way, both are well worth a try! The Corona Gorda and the Robusto are the newer, slightly more expensive versions, produced from 2015 onwards. The Churchill and the Gran Toro are still the ‘old’, slightly cheaper variants. The difference between the old and new versions is minor; the blend has been adjusted only slightly. The Churchill is therefore the ‘original’ winner of Cigar Aficionado’s ‘Best Cigar of the Year’ award.
