DESCRIPTION
The anniversary cigar Artista Pulita 60 is a medium to strong cigar with a very original flavour. The wrapper is a Rare Dominican Negrito, a very rare leaf. A traditional blend is created using Criollo 98 as the binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Colombia, the USA and the Dominican Republic. The Pulita 60 is an absolute premium cigar with very solid workmanship and Caribbean flavour. Dominant notes of cocoa and sweet exotic spices are accompanied by a subtle earthy undertone. A real connoisseur's cigar with a complex flavour structure!
Pulita 60 - Back to the roots
The Pulita 60 Aniversario 2016 was launched to mark the 60th anniversary of Tabacalera El Artista. No time or expense was spared to revive the "original Artista" blended by Ramón "Pulita" Rodriguez in 1956 as faithfully as possible. The same tobaccos are used, including some original tobaccos, and the result is a real vintage smoking experience that should not be missed.
About Artista Cigars
Tabacalera El Artista (TEA) has been growing tobacco as a third-generation family business for around 70 years and is one of the largest tobacco producers in the Dominican Republic. Some of the tobacco is used for the company's own blends, while most of it is sold on to cigar manufacturers. Artista's hand-rolled cigars are the passion project of Radhames "Ram" Rodriguez, the grandson of founder Ramon "Pulita" Rodriguez.
