Buffalo Trace Straight Bourbon Whiskey 70cl The Buffalo Trace Distillery is responsible for the entire production of Sazerac’s bourbon whiskies. All the bourbons produced at this historic distillery are matured in warehouses that are over a hundred years old. These are constructed from solid wooden beams and roofed with bricks. This creates natural cycles of warming and cooling that follow Kentucky’s four distinct seasons – ideal conditions for the bourbon to mature naturally over time. Buffalo Trace was the first distillery to deliberately adopt this ageing method as early as 1859 – and continues to use it to this day. The result is a harmonious straight bourbon with a balanced blend of sweetness, spice and woody notes: on the nose, there are hints of vanilla, caramel and a touch of honey; on the palate, delicate oak aromas complement notes of spices and dried fruit. The long, smooth finish makes Buffalo Trace an ideal bourbon to enjoy neat, on the rocks or as a premium base for classic cocktails.
