This gin is still carefully handcrafted today at the Balmenach Distillery in Scotland, which uses traditional copper stills. The addition of ‘small batch’ to the name is intended to highlight the gin’s high quality, as this is a far cry from faceless mass production. Caorunn Small Batch Scottish Gin uses a blend of classic and regional Celtic botanicals, including: juniper, rowan berries (known as ‘Caorunn’ in Gaelic), bog myrtle, dandelion and heather.
