Cohiba – unique cigars

The very term ‘Cohiba’ is unique, as it is not a word of Spanish origin but a loanword from the indigenous Taíno people, referring to the wrapping of the tobacco leaves. Many different characteristics make a Cohiba cigar the most exclusive of all Habanos. Firstly, there is the origin of the leaves – they come exclusively from the five finest ‘Vegas de Primera’ in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region, specifically from the areas of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis. Another unique feature of a Cohiba is the – third – fermentation of two of the three filler leaves; this gives the Cohiba its irresistible aroma and inimitable flavour.

Smoke: Slightly creamy with a hint of sweetness and a low smoke volume.
