The Cuaba Traditionales is an elegant Double Figurado from Cuba – classic in appearance, balanced in flavour and a wonderful example of traditional Habano craftsmanship. With its medium to medium-full-bodied profile, it combines a creamy smoke texture with refined spiciness and a subtle, natural sweetness. Cuaba Traditionales – Format & Origin

At the factory, the Traditionales bears the vitola name ‘Favoritos’ and measures 120 mm in length with a ring gauge of 42. Like all Cuaba cigars, it is made entirely by hand (long filler) from Cuban tobaccos. The iconic Double Figurado shape – tapering at both ends – allows the flavours to develop noticeably as you smoke, whilst also making the cigar a real eye-catcher in the humidor.

Character & Flavour Profile

Aromatically, the Traditionales begins gently with cedar and a delicate honey/malt sweetness. In the middle section, notes of roasted nuts, leather and light spices intensify; earthy undertones and a subtle hint of citrus provide freshness and balance. The strength remains elegantly moderate – ideal for aficionados who appreciate classic Cuban signatures without excessive strength and who love the dramatic character of a Perfecto.

Workmanship, Presentation & Occasion

Thanks to its conical shape, the Traditionales offers a concentrated draw at the start before unfolding its full aromatic profile in the wider middle section. The clean roll ensures a reliable draw and a smooth, even burn with firm, light-grey ash. In practice, the smoking time is around 30–40 minutes. The cigar is typically supplied in a 25-count dress box – a high-quality gift and a sure-fire choice for lovers of elegant figurados.
