DESCRIPTION
The Samana Classic Jumbo 6x60 combines the mild and delicately aromatic character of the time-honoured Classic range with an impressive Gordo format. This entirely hand-rolled long-filler cigar originates from the Dominican Republic and is produced at the Tabacalera Don Esteban in Santiago. Its light U.S. Connecticut Shade wrapper gives it an elegant appearance and complements its smooth, creamy character. Thanks to its generous ring gauge, it produces plenty of cool smoke, whilst the delicate aromas of wood, nut, grass and natural tobacco sweetness come through particularly harmoniously.
Samana Classic Jumbo with a ring gauge of 60
With a length of 152 millimetres, a diameter of around 24 millimetres and a ring gauge of 60, the Jumbo is one of the particularly voluminous sizes in the Samana Classic range. The large burn surface ensures a cool and relaxed smoking experience as well as a pleasantly rich smoke volume. Despite its imposing appearance, the cigar’s flavour remains deliberately mild and approachable. This makes it appealing to both beginners and experienced connoisseurs who occasionally prefer a light and uncomplicated cigar with a long smoking time.
Connecticut Shade and Dominican tobaccos
The current product description lists selected Dominican Cubano Ligero and Seco Dominicano tobaccos for the filler. A De Olor binder envelops the blend, before a high-quality U.S. Connecticut Shade wrapper completes the cigar. The tobaccos used are prepared by the renowned tobacco processor José Mendez and then hand-rolled into premium long-fillers in Santiago. This combination ensures a smooth, mellow character with a creamy texture, subtle spice and delicate natural tobacco flavours.
A mild smoking experience with creamy aromas
In terms of flavour, the Samana Classic range leans towards the milder end of the spectrum. Initially, creamy and slightly grassy nuances take centre stage, accompanied by mild woody notes and a subtle natural sweetness. As the cigar is smoked further, delicate nutty notes, cereal tones and understated fruity accents emerge. Thanks to the wide jumbo format, the flavours come across as particularly smooth and balanced, whilst the smoke remains pleasantly cool. With a smoking time of approximately 65 minutes, this cigar is ideal for a relaxed moment of indulgence when an aromatic but not overly strong smoke is desired.
