The name Doomsayer stands for someone who predicts disaster. The company explains why this line was chosen for the Room101 portfolio on its website as follows:

The end of days has come. Nothingness is hurtling towards life as we know it, and we stand powerless in its way. That, my fellow Tobbaccophiles, is no longer an option. In the face of certain and final doom, I offer neither solutions nor salvation. I offer you an escape in the form of a quality cigar. Gently insert it into your sucking hole, light it and consume it.
