DESCRIPTION

The beer was aged for many years in small oak barrels, which now impart their distinctive bouquet to our Säntis Malt. Every drop is an essence of this past.

Tasting Notes
Colour: light to dark amber
Nose: strong fruit aromas (pear, quince) through to intense whisky notes. The typical beer aroma of Säntis Blau is only very subtly detectable in the background.
Palate: Wonderful fruity malt, charming and delicate at the same time. Slightly oily with subtle woody notes.
Finish: Fresh whisky aromas with a lovely, medium-length finish.
