DESCRIPTION

The distillery that produces Hakushu Single Malt is situated high up on Mount Kaikomagatake, in the heart of the forest. The single malt is strongly influenced by this location and the climate, and is often referred to as ‘green whisky’. The Distiller’s Reserve does not specify an age statement. It blends various single malt whiskies from different vintages.

Tasting Notes
Aroma: Fruity and herbal with notes of melon, peppermint and cucumber.
Taste: Tart and fruity. It tastes of citrus fruits with a hint of herbs such as thyme. Subtly spicy too. Slightly smoky on the finish.
