DESCRIPTION

The distillery that produces the Hakushu single malt is located high up on Mount Kaikomagatake, in the middle of the forest. The single malt is strongly characterised by this location and the climate and is often referred to as "green whisky". The Distiller's Reserve does not have an age statement. It combines various single malt whiskies from different vintages.

TastingNotes
Aroma: Fruity and herbal with notes of melon, peppermint and cucumber.
Flavour: Tart and fruity. It tastes of citrus fruits with a hint of herbs such as thyme. Also subtly spicy. Slightly smoky on the finish.
