Umnum Cañonazo 5 1/4x52

For thousands of years, tobacco has been the mediator between gods and humans. Originally, smoking was a privilege of the shamans, the so-called Sukia, from Cabo Camarón in Honduras to the Río Grande in Nicaragua. These "healers" used tobacco leaves for medicine and initiation rites among the indigenous peoples in many parts of the Americas. In their rituals, they communicated with the gods by sniffing or chewing tobacco. They used tobacco to cure illnesses.

A tribute to all indigenous peoples

The Umnum brand is entirely dedicated to this theme and is a tribute to all indigenous peoples who have used tobacco as an axis of fraternal union between their community, for whom respect for nature and the sharing of its resources are fundamental principles that cannot be dispensed with. For this reason, the Umnum ring contains the image of the spirit with which the Sukias have fraternised, on a black background representing the world of dreams. The colour gold symbolises fire and ash. Smoking
Umnum Nicaragua means embarking on a dreamlike journey through time and space to share the best cigarettes with the world's first tobacco smokers.
